The current round of statewide discounts for books and av materials for library cooperative member libraries expires September 30, 2018. TLN prepared an rfp to send to highly qualified vendors, inviting same to submit bids covering the period October 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021.

- TLN initiated the statewide discounts program in 2000.
- The discount percentages for the 2018-2021 period are the highest they have ever been.
- Fuel surcharges have been completely eliminated and most vendors have done away with service charges on net titles.
